HMDC stakes winner Lofty Cowtown will have to wait a few more days to make her seasonal debut until Saturday the 25th in the 7th race. A peek out your window will tell you these winter days are not fit for man nor beast. According to the most recent post from the OHIO HBPA - Mahoning Valley Race Course has cancelled live racing next Monday and Tuesday, January 20th and 21st due to predicted extremely cold temperatures and wind chills.


Monday’s card will be made up as originally drawn next Friday, January 24th and Tuesday’s card will be made up as drawn next Saturday, January 25th. There will not be training next Monday, January 20th. A decision will be made later, on training on Tuesday. Mahoning may be able to open the track for a few hours Tuesday afternoon.
