About Our Stallions

Our breeding philosophy for producing an Ohio stakes horse is: "Breed the best to the best that one can afford." Obviously, our philosophy parallels just about everyone else’s in the Thoroughbred business. However, we differ to a degree, in that we like to move a step closer to success by breeding to blood stock that is proven: Proven stallions, to proven mares and / or deep black type families. Thus, when we decided to invest in stallions,  owned by HMDC Racing Partners: Huntertown Farm, Mapleton Thoroughbred Farm, Duncan Farms and Smokin' C Thoroughbreds. They had to be proven stallions that have produced graded and multiple stake winners. We feel we have accomplished that goal with Air Strike, Corfu, Dominus, Fort Larned and Mobil who stand at Duncan Farms in Warsaw, Ohio.
