Duncan Farms
Robust stallions, proven race records, established bloodlines
Duncan Farms , located in Warsaw Ohio, has established itself as Ohio’s leading stallion station in a relatively short amount of time. Recognized world-wide for their international reputation of the production of superior Holstein Cattle, Duncan Farms has transferred their vast experience in reproductive techniques to the Thoroughbred breed.
Since 2017, when they turned their focus to the breeding of thoroughbreds, the family run operation has assembled a robust group of stallions with proven race records and established bloodlines. Their roster includes Breeders Cup Classic winner Fort Larned, Canada’s Champion Older Male Horse and Champion Ohio stallion Mobil and the reigning leading Ohio stallion Dominus.
Duncan Farms currently has over 25 mares and their offspring will be part of the group that will be considered by HMDC in their selection process for partnership horses. Dominus is a private stallion and will be bred almost exclusively to select mares from HMDC farms. Daryl Duncan said one of the attractions to buying into Dominus was that he was a multiple graded stakes winner by Smart Strike, who has high-profile sons at stud in Curlin and Lookin At Lucky.
