Talk about a unique gift you can’t buy in the stores and a gift that keeps on giving – how about a horse under the tree! Actually, we’ll keep them in a stall for you, but you can come by and feed your gift a carrot anytime you like. While we opened the doors early to our “loyalty program investors” from previous partnerships, we still have shares available in some outstanding offspring of Dominus that are being offered in our 2026 stable of new performers. Give us a call and get the details!

IT WAS DÉJÀ VU IN THE $75,000 BOBBIE BRICKER MEMORIAL
Countess Colette left us a $15,000 gift under the tree (though we really wanted the bigger one), when she, once again, put in a determined stretch run to fall only a neck short in the One-mile and 70-yard Bobbie Bricker Stakes. Rider Alexander Crispin didn’t have any option for a favorable early spot on the track with his #9 post position he was kept wide into the first turn after brushing briefly at the start of the race. Crispin worked his way to save ground down the backstretch and commenced their rally entering the speed slowed and “Countess” sped up, the only option was to go around rivals over the muddy surface. She went even wider into the lane and was straightened out for the final furlong. Now in full gear, the finish line came too quickly as she fell a neck short for the top
prize, well clear of the stakes-winning third-place finisher. The Megan Fadlovich trainee closed out her 4-year-old season with a career resume of 12-3-6-1 for earnings of $136,490. Megan hopes to give the partnership of HMDC and Taste of Victory Stable one last gift on Christmas Eve as she sends out Fortheloveofbonnie in the 8th race (3:31 p.m.) at Mahoning Valley on Wednesday. As you may recall, her last start was a public workout, as the race was declared a “no contest” after a gate malfunction. She drew the short straw in that race with the #12 post and received a most favorable #3 chute in a reduced eight-horse field in this $33,700 allowance event for accredited- going six panels. We at HMDC wish you and your families an exceptional holiday season and invite you to come along as a part of our team in 2026!
