FOR LOFTY COWTOWN IT WAS DÉJÀ VU ALL OVER AGAIN

If you saw the $75,000 Dr. T.F. Classen Stakes, you saw the 6th race on August 7. In a bit of a racing rarity the top three finishers finished in the exact same order! Sadly, for HMDC, Lofty Cowtown finished second in both. This time it was a $27,800 starter Allowance for Accredited state-breds. “Lofty” was taken back after the break by Anthony Nunez and they commenced a strong three-wide rally into stretch. Just like the Classen, Authoritarian Girl was loose on the lead by three lengths at the furlong marker and while “Lofty” closed that gap, she ran out of real estate, Miz Keeta finished third. They still pay for second, and the Megan Fadlovich trainee now has a resume of 19-6-3-3 for earnings of $197,487
